I read this and re-read it. My purpose in life is to make the world better. Hmmm. I do try. I think it can happen. One person at a time.
Capable of great love? I don’t know about that. You can’t have a lot of feeling through scar tissue and it seems like my heart has a few scars. My friend and her kids came to AMI’s ballgame last night. Afterwards we were talking and she said “I was hoping she was ugly, but she's not.” Talking about the girl’s mom. I almost felt myself starting to defend her. WHY? After all the crap she put me thru over the last year. The lies, deception and tears she put both myself and the girls thru. Strange how that happens. I guess deep down inside I was hoping that someday she and I could have remained friends. I guess not.
