As I sit in our hotel room, just a stone's throw from Reagan Airport and a short distance from our nation’s Capitol, I am in awe of the historical value of this place. The center for freedom and liberty of the world.
One of my favorite presidents is Thomas Jefferson. For many reasons, but ultimately his love of liberty and eloquent quill skills. We are heading over to the National Mall today to reflect on our nation’s prosperity and the sacrifice of so many for the opportunity of freedom.
I will leave you with a quote from Jefferson:
“I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.”
